Sunday
School
We at Kindred UCC value the needs and assets of our youngest community members. Faith in Action Sunday School connects us as one kindred people by acknowledging the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all God’s people.
Our weekly children’s moment during each Sunday’s church service shares a children’s story from the Learning for Justice recommended reading list and prepares our young people for the Bible stories of love, justice, and action taught during the Sunday School hour following each week’s children’s moment.
Join us for Sunday service and encourage the children, 3 and older, in your lives to be part of our Faith in Action Sunday School.
Spanish
Classes
Some in the Kindred community have felt called to learn the language of many of our neighbors as we work with partner organizations in immigrant justice efforts.
One of our community members is a retired Spanish teacher who loves to work with adult learners.
There is currently an intermediate class that meets weekly.
